Adlay Trikatu Tablets bring together three of Ayurveda’s most potent warming herbs — Dry Ginger (Shunthi) from the spice farms of Kerala, Black Pepper (Maricha) from the high-altitude Idukki highlands, and Long Pepper (Pippali) wild-harvested from the forests of Meghalaya. Together, these three form Trikatu — a classical formulation documented in the Charaka Samhita for its ability to rekindle Agni, the body’s digestive intelligence. Trikatu means “three pungents” in Sanskrit — and pungency, in Ayurveda, is the quality that kindles fire. These three herbs work together as Deepana (digestive fire activators) and Pachana (digestive completers), addressing sluggish digestion at its root rather than masking the symptoms. Pippali and black pepper also contain piperine — extensively studied for its role in enhancing the absorption of other nutrients and herbs taken alongside it.
